Biography
The eldest son of two Korean-born doctors, Tony’s work reflects his unique background: a scientific reverence for the essential elements of light, form, scale and composition, combined with a playful and daring joy in movement, energy and life – a joie de vivre.
A renowned fashion and entertainment photographer, Tony has contributed to some of the world’s most esteemed publications, including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and W magazine. He has photographed some of the most sought after actors in the industry including Elisabeth Moss (Mad Men, Hand Maid's Tale) , Elizabeth Olson (Avengers, WandaVision), Liv Tyler (Lord of the Rings), Amy Adams (Vice), Dan Stevens (Downtown Abbey) and Richard Madden (Game of Thrones) and many others.
Tony is the cofounding partner of TurnKey Pictures, a film production company that develops scripted and non-scripted content with a focus on original, offbeat and stylized storytelling. He has produced and directed several independent films. JewCE, his most recent documentary film, is currently streaming on JLTV.
Tony is a survivor of Hodgkin's lymphoma and donates a portion of his studio proceeds to cancer research.
